A postdoctoral position in the laboratory of Dr. Perna is available to work in translational research studies in hematology and immunotherapy developments. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with research experience (minimum 3 years) in the areas of molecular cloning, cancer cell biology, immunobiology, and mouse models. Experience in hematopoiesis and/or bioinformatics is highly considered. Duties or techniques may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Cell sorting and analysis by flow cytometry Cell culture Viral production and transduction Generation of vectors and reagents Western blotting, cellular and protein analysis CRISPR/Cas9 Animal models Drug sensitivity assays Maintaining accurate records of experiments and results Communicating with other team members and senior departmental members Presenting data locally and at national and international meetings

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate or terminal degree required. The position requires a PhD and three years of research experience in the areas of molecular cloning, cancer cell biology, immunobiology, and mouse models. Experience in hematopoiesis and/or bioinformatics is highly considered.
